Curriculum

The curriculum at Abercorn is tailored to the needs of the pupils and their future aspirations. The ‘National Curriculum of England and Wales’ is a useful starting point and each department enhances their programmes of study to ensure that every pupil is motivated and challenged.

Children learn in many different ways – not only through discussion and in writing, but also through the Performing and Creative Arts, Sport and Information Communication Technology. You will also notice that we teach French throughout the School, including the Nursery.

By participating in a wide range of learning activities, pupils develop the skills and self-confidence to succeed in their future education and career.
