Amelia has an incredible enthusiasm and love for school which is without doubt due to the happy, positive and stimulating classroom environment you have created.”

Born and raised in New York and San Francisco, Andrea was educated at Radcliffe College, Harvard University, The University of California at Berkeley and King’s College, London where she pursued undergraduate and graduate studies in Mathematics. Having married a British subject, Andrew Greystoke, in 1970 she has lived in London ever since, apart from a five year stint in Manhattan due to Andrew’s professional commitments.
Andrea became the first female teacher at St. Paul’s Boys’ School and subsequently in the same capacity at King’s College School in London. She left teaching to have her (6!) children – all of whose names begin with an “A” -- but returned to education with the foundation of Abercorn School in 1987. In 2006 she started its sister school in New York, the British International School of New York, located on 23rd Street and the East River. A third school, Abercorn International, opened in 2010 in Austin, Texas.
As you may gather, Andrea loves children!

David Morse has been associated with the Abercorn Schools for a number of years initially as the Founding Headmaster of our sister school, the British International School of New York and now as Head of TOGS. He is a graduate of Durham and Bath Universities specialising in Earth Sciences and Sports Studies. David has been a Head for many years and has a wealth of experience in a variety of schools both in the UK and abroad. He is a member of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools and has held memberships of the ISA and COBIS at previous schools.
He and his wife Sue are blessed with two children James (17) and Emma (14) who attend school at Oundle. David has a great sense of humour and enjoys cricket and golf and walking his dog "Abi".

Francesca was awarded a Montessori Diploma in July 1987 and she began her teaching career in the nursery at Abercorn School when it opened that September. In 1988 she left for a year to start a new nursery in The Hampshire School's Bayswater branch. She later returned to Abercorn to teach in Pre Reception. Over the past years she has taught in both the Reception and the Year 1 classes. Francesca has been Head of Early Years for about ten years and in September 2006, she took on the role of Marketing Director as well.

Karalyn was born in Scotland and came to London to go to university and then train as a teacher. Her first appointment, as an infant teacher, took her back up north to Carlisle in Cumbria. Whilst in Cumbria and Newcastle she was Head of an Infant Department. After leaving Cumbria, she went to San Francisco for two years. On her return she taught in the Special Needs Department of the London Oratory School, was the Maths Coordinator at the Marist Covenent and Science Coordinator at St. Cristina's School. Karalyn joined Abercorn orginally in 1987 as Head of the Infant School but left to look after her four children. She returned to Abercorn in 2003 where she was Director of Studies and has been in the post of Deputy Head for the last two years.

Having originally trained in Scotland, Kirsteen moved to London in 1995, where she took up post as a Year 4 teacher in a large junior school. After two years, she joined a small independent school in South East London, where she taught Years 2-4, in addition to having the responsibility of Mathematics coordinator and finally Acting Deputy Head. She joined Abercorn in 2005 as Head of Mathematics and has been in the post of Director of Studies for the last two years.
