Year 3 Brave Bushcraft Camp
On Thursday 30th June Year 3 parents waved goodbye to their children at TOGS as they headed off to the long awaited trip to Bushcraft Camp in Hertfordshire.
Packed into two days there were so many new experiences for the children from lighting fires, cooking their own food, learning to use sharp knives to make their own tent pegs, building shelters, a whole host of new songs not to mention wilderness wees and the best game ever…Predator!
For many there was been a real sense of achievement and Aurora told the teachers how she couldn’t wait for PGL next year (where the pupils in Year 4 and 5 spend 4 nights away) as she had been a bit scared before this but was so excited about it now.
