Saracens Rugby Trip
On Thursday, 20th November the boys from Year 6, 7 and 8 went to Allianz Park, the home of Saracens Rugby Football Club. A tour of the stadium and facilities gave them an insight into what it takes to run a professional sports team. The boys were privileged to sit in the 1st Team changing room as used on match day, as well as visit the conference rooms and hospitality suites. After the tour, the boys were put through their paces by the Saracens community coaches on the ground-breaking new astro-turf, specially designed for rugby matches. For some of them, it was the first time they participated in contact rugby, which is useful considering they will be moving onto senior schools where they will be expected to play this sport. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
