BIS-NY pupils visit Portland Place
Recently at Portland Place we were visited by the Year 8 pupils of our sister school, The British International School of New York, during their 4 day trip to London.
Abercorn's Year 7 & 8 pupils played host to the BIS-NY pupils who experienced a morning "in school", visiting English, History, Science and French lessons. Then it was off to Regent's Park for a re-match of the BIS-NY v Abercorn football match that was played in Central Park last year during our exchange trip - there was a winner but diplomacy prevents me from naming them! Then it was time for a picnic lunch before returning to Portland Place to say goodbye to BIS-NY as they headed for the airport.
Although it was only a short visit it was a great opportunity for the two schools to connect and hopefully many of them will meet up again next year when Abercorn head to New York.
