Starting the trip with a stop off in Bristol for Pirate’s Adventure Crazy Golf the sun came out for a brilliant afternoon of golfing. The wind was still, the greens fast and the fairways well kept – a great day for the first annual PGL Master’s. After a competitive and thrilling morning our PGL campers arrived at PGL Liddington to an evening of 'Wacky Races' activities. Day two brought even more fun as the children rotated around 4 activities split into morning and afternoon pairings: crate stacking, the zip-wire, aeroball and archery. All that was planned proved to be challenging exercises in their own right, be it conquering a fear of heights on the zip-wire, working as a team to build and climb huge stacks of crates, managing to bounce and throw balls at targets (or eachother) or aiming for gold in the archery. There were massive personal successes all around the campsite. On day three campers took a walk on the wild side by going on safari at Longleat, seeing Lions, Monkeys, Hippos and much more up close! The evening was spent back at base around the campfire toasting marshmallows and singing songs! Day four was not a day to be tired for – the giant swing, sensory trail, orienteering and abseiling are PGL favourites and proved to be ours too.A fantastic fun-filled week was had by all!
