School Bus Service

Abercorn offers transportation options which ease the daily school drop offs.

We are able to provide a daily return bus service as follows:

Our daily bus service runs from our Lower School to Senior (via Lisson Grove) in the morning, and then from our Senior School to Lower School (via Lisson Grove) in the afternoon.

School begins at 8.30am. Buses leave Lower School going to Senior School promptly at 8.10am. Buses stop at Lisson Grove about 15 minutes after departure from Lower School (subject to traffic). Buses depart in the afternoon at 3.50pm from the Senior School, travelling via Lisson Grove and then will return to Lower School for 4.15pm, traffic permitting.

Spaces for the bus service are limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis. A waiting list may operate if necessary.

Where is Abercorn?

Located in the heart of central London, Abercorn School spans two beautiful buildings both of which have their own charm and facilities dedicated to the pupils that attend school there.

Lower School

28 Abercorn Place, London, NW8 9XP

Our pupils begin their journey in Lower School from 2 years of age. Home to our youngest pupils in Nursery - Year 2, Abercorn Place in St. John’s Wood is the original school building which opened in 1987.

Senior School

60 Paddington Street, London, W1U 4JD

Pupils from Year 3 through to Year 11 enjoy our new premises at Paddington Place, where state of the art, purpose built facilities have been created to support them at every stage of their education.

The Friends of Abercorn is a non-profit parent teacher association, created with the intention of furthering the link between the school and the parents, promoting a greater Abercorn community spirit.

Abercorn School prides itself on the quality of its catering. We are committed to serving nutritionally balanced meals every lunchtime, with meat and vegetarian options, a salad bar, and plenty of fresh fruit and desserts.
