Francesca Marriott

Teaching Assistant

Francesca joined Abercorn in January 2014.

Francesca has been working in the Senior School and will soon be moving to the Lower school.

To Francesca, being part of the Abercorn team feels like part of a huge family with all of her colleagues. As she has worked here for a long period of time, she has built up a soild relationship with parents, which makes daily life pleasurable. The thing that she enjoys most about her role is that she gets to work with all the children in Abercorn, and understand all the children's needs and interests.

When playing games with her sisters as a child, Francesca would role-play being a teacher. This instilled a desire within her to work with children when she was older. Francesca says that “working with children, inspires me everyday, as they are learning and exploring the world and being there to help assist their understanding is definitely a fulfilling experience.”

In her spare time, Francesca enjoys travelling the world, keeping fit with taekwondo classes ans socialising with friends and family. She also enjoys relaxing at home watching a variety of movies and documentaries.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) Early Childhood studies and Early Years Professional status (Level 7)
