Nina Aggarwal

English and Maths Teacher

Nina joined Abercorn in 2023.

Nina began her career working in education across several British international schools in Dubai and South East Asia. She then relocated to London to study Psychology at King's College London, and swiftly decided to pursue my teaching qualification at the University of Cambridge, in hopes of becoming a fully qualified primary school teacher. After completing her degree, she continued to work within the state sector in Cambridge and London, before happily settling within the Abercorn family.

Nina happily says that she looks forward to each day at Abercorn. She says, “the wonderful children that we work with constantly put a smile on my face, and it brings me so much pleasure to learn from them as much as they learn from me.”

Nina believes that being a teacher is a gift and a massive responsibility that she does not take lightly. She believes that teachers have the crucial job of educating and supporting the future generations, and for that, she is forever grateful for her role. Her job means that she gets to come to work everyday, and experience the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with being a teacher, and she absolutely loves it. Her job has a ripple effect across so many lives, and she would not have it any other way.

In her spare time, Nina enjoys cycling, baking and dog walking on the weekends. She also has the typical English teacher love for reading. Some of her favourites include ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘Little Women.’

Qualifications: BSc Psychology, King's College London Primary PGCE (QTS), University of Cambridge, Homerton College
