As a Sports Specialist at Abercorn Mr Doyle works with pupils across age groups to develop an appreciation of competition and cooperation whilst developing new sporting skills.
From an early age Mr Doyle knew that teaching was for him. It began with holiday work suggested to him by his own teacher who introduced him to the Islington Play and Youth Service. Here began an incredibly rewarding 25 year period of working with children which left him in no doubt that working with children was his vocation. The rest as they say was history!
As a teacher, Mr Doyle believes that every day spent working with children is different and enjoys the challenges each day brings and the perspective of his pupils. He fondly remembers stories from his time spent taking pupils too and from practice and believes that it is impossible not to spend your day smiling when surrounded by young and engaged minds.
Qualifications: PGCE in Science of Sports Coaching
